We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help us build and scale our core APIs and data pipeline infrastructure. **What you'll do** - Design and implement high-throughput REST and GraphQL APIs in Python (FastAPI/Django) - Lead architectural discussions and code reviews - Partner with ML team to productionise model inference endpoints - Own reliability — on-call rotation, SLO definition, runbook authorship **Requirements** - 5+ years of Python backend development - Strong experience with PostgreSQL and Redis - Familiarity with AWS (ECS, RDS, SQS, S3) - Experience with distributed systems and async patterns **Nice to have** - Contributions to open-source Python projects - Experience with Kubernetes or Terraform - Previous startup experience
