Job Description
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Community Center at Tyndall AFB, FL.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Applicants must have practical experience in developing, planning, organizing, and carrying out projects and programs in a Community Center or related program that involved performing broader projects described in the duties and responsibilities above. Have practical experience and general knowledge of organizational principles and practices and ability to perform financial, program, facility, inventory, and personnel management. Have skill to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Be able to speak, read, and write the English Language. Ability to make decisions and work effectively under the pressure of timelines and rigid deadlines. Experience using Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience must demonstrate the ability to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, recognize solutions, and plan and organize work. Have experience in a customer service setting with the ability to perform common arithmetic problems, budgeting and cash handling, a year experience desirable. Possess skill in dealing with the public. Physically able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds and be able to occasionally lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Able to actively bend, stoop, stand, reach, and work in awkward positions. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
