1 Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using TalentLane (the "Service") — including by creating an account, browsing job listings, posting jobs, or using any AI-powered features — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and NEXTCORE AI LLC, a West Virginia limited liability company (doing business as "TalentLane").

Feature availability varies by plan. We are a marketplace platform — we are not an employer, staffing agency, or party to any employment relationship between users of the Service.
TalentLane may introduce additional features or service tiers in the future, including optional paid features for job seekers. Any new offerings will be described at the time of introduction and may be subject to supplemental terms or separate pricing.
3 Eligibility
To use TalentLane, you must:
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts in your jurisdiction
- Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law
By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the above eligibility requirements.
4 Accounts & Registration
Accounts are created and authenticated through Auth0 using Google OAuth or email-based login. We do not store passwords on our platform.
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account, whether or not authorized by you
- Notifying us immediately at legal@talentlane.biz if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
Each individual may hold one personal account. Employers and recruiters may have multiple team members operating under a shared company presence within a single organizational account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.
5 Acceptable Use
You agree to use TalentLane only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, fraudulent, or discriminatory job listings or profile information
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated means (bots, scripts, or other tools) to access, collect, or index data from the platform without our express written permission
- Impersonate any person, company, or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any organization
- Send spam, unsolicited commercial communications, or chain messages through platform messaging features
- Attempt to circumvent subscription tier restrictions, feature gates, rate limits, or access controls
- Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation
- Interfere with, disrupt, or overburden the Service's infrastructure, servers, or networks
- Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or any content designed to harm users or the platform
- Collect personal information from other users without their consent
We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.
6 Subscriptions & Billing
- Billing cycle: Paid subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual basis. Monthly plans are billed through Stripe on the same date each month. Annual plans are billed as a single upfront lump-sum payment and renew annually on the same date.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew each billing period (monthly or annual) until you cancel.
- Cancellation: You may cancel at any time via your account billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to paid features until then.
- Refunds — monthly plans: We do not offer refunds for partial monthly billing periods. If you cancel mid-period, you will not receive a prorated refund.
- Refunds — annual plans: Annual plan payments are non-refundable. As an exception, annual subscribers who are unsatisfied may request a prorated refund within 14 days of their initial annual purchase by contacting legal@talentlane.biz. This exception applies to first-time annual purchases only and is not available on renewals.
- Price changes: We will notify you at least 30 days in advance of any price change. Continued use after the effective date of a price change constitutes acceptance.
- Free plan limits: Free plan employers and recruiters are limited to 3 active job listings at a time. AI features, company logo upload, and analytics are not available on the Free plan.
- Payment processing: All payment card data is handled by Stripe. TalentLane never stores your card information. By providing payment details, you authorize recurring charges in accordance with your chosen plan and billing interval.
7 AI Features Disclaimer
TalentLane offers AI-powered features on paid plans, including resume quality scoring, job listing quality scoring, candidate-job match scoring, and interview question generation. By using these features, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- All AI outputs — scores, rankings, feedback, and recommendations — are advisory only and are not a substitute for professional human judgment.
- TalentLane does not make hiring or employment decisions on behalf of any employer or recruiter. All final hiring decisions are made solely by the relevant employer or recruiter.
- AI scores and recommendations may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. Accuracy is not guaranteed.
- Employers are solely responsible for their hiring decisions, including any decisions influenced by or based on AI-generated outputs from TalentLane.
- TalentLane is not liable for any hiring decision, employment outcome, or loss arising from reliance on AI-generated outputs.
AI features are powered by the Anthropic Claude API. When you use an AI feature, relevant content (your resume text or job description) is transmitted to Anthropic as a data subprocessor. See our Privacy Policy, Section 4 for full details.
8 Intellectual Property
TalentLane's IP: TalentLane owns all rights, title, and interest in and to the platform, including its software, design, visual elements, trademarks, service marks, logos, and brand identity. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of our intellectual property to you.
Your content: You retain ownership of all content you upload or submit to TalentLane, including resumes, job listings, profile information, cover letters, and messages.
License you grant us: By uploading content to TalentLane, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, display, transmit, and use your content solely as necessary to operate and improve the Service. This license is limited in scope to operating the Service and does not give us the right to sell your content or use it for unrelated purposes.
This license terminates when you delete the relevant content or close your account, subject to the data retention provisions in our Privacy Policy.
9 Third-Party Services
TalentLane integrates with and relies on several third-party services to operate. Your use of the Service is also governed by the applicable terms of these providers:
- Auth0 (Okta): Handles authentication and identity management.
- Stripe: Handles payment processing and subscription billing.
- Amazon Web Services: Provides file storage (S3), email delivery (SES), and notification infrastructure (SNS).
- Anthropic: Provides the Claude API for AI-powered features.
TalentLane is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, data practices, or actions of any third-party service. Links to third-party websites or services from TalentLane are provided for convenience only; we do not endorse and are not responsible for those sites or services.
10 Disclaimers
TalentLane is a marketplace platform connecting job seekers with employers and recruiters. We do not guarantee job placements, interviews, offers, or any particular employment outcome. We do not screen or verify the accuracy of job listings, employer credentials, or seeker qualifications beyond our standard platform policies.
11 Limitation of Liability
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
12 Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TalentLane and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and service providers from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use of the Service or any content you upload or submit
- Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law or regulation
- Your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property right or privacy right
- Any dispute between you and another user of the Service
13 Termination
By TalentLane: We may suspend or permanently terminate your account and access to the Service at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is fraudulent, is harmful to other users or the platform, or for any other reason we deem appropriate. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you when feasible.
By you: You may delete your account at any time via your account settings. Upon deletion, your right to access the Service ceases immediately.
Effect of termination: Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law — will survive any termination of your account or these Terms. Data handling after termination is governed by our Privacy Policy, Section 9.
14 Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising from or related to them or your use of the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
15 Dispute Resolution
Good-faith negotiation first: Before initiating any formal dispute resolution process, both parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service through good-faith negotiation. Contact us at legal@talentlane.biz with a description of your dispute. We will attempt to respond within 15 business days.
Binding arbitration: If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, it shall be finally resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, which are incorporated herein by reference. The arbitration shall be conducted in English. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Exception — injunctive relief: Either party may seek emergency injunctive or other equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent actual or threatened infringement, misappropriation, or violation of intellectual property rights, without first engaging in the negotiation or arbitration process described above.
Class action waiver: You agree that any arbitration or litigation will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
16 Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and/or by a prominent in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Non-material changes (such as typo corrections or clarifications) may be made without prior notice.
Your continued use of TalentLane after the effective date of any updated Terms constitutes your agreement to be bound by the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service before the effective date.
