Job Description
About the position: This position will be assigned to the NAF Human Resource Office. This is a Regular Full-Time position with benefits (medical, dental, life insurance, retirement, 401(k), and annual/sick leave). Must be able to work as a team and independently. Must be friendly, courteous, and be able to succeed in a busy, multi-tasked environment. This is a position of Trust.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience:Experience interpreting and applying rules, regulations, and procedures in accomplishment of clerical/administrative work; utilizing recruitment tools in hiring personnel (i.e., generating job postings, job fairs, or equivalent); advising on routine recruitment strategies; troubleshooting and resolving personnel system and software issues; utilizing office automation software (MS Windows, MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel). Performs all assigned duties in an accurate and timely manner. Works independently, sets work schedule based on work requirements and deadlines. Promptly and courteously receives, greets, and answers questions from customers and telephone callers. Accurately maintains and updates files to enable quick and efficient retrieval of information. Ensures compliance with all established directives. Accurately prepares employment documents in accordance with appropriate directives and policies and in the proper format. Consistently follows up on suspense items and status of security checks to ensure timely completion. Exercises tact and diplomacy in dealing with applicants, employees, managers, and co-workers. Ensures compliance with all established safety and security policies and directives. Condition(s) of Employment: Successful completion and favorable adjudication of applicable background investigation (Tier 1 and T3 Level) is required.
