Job Description
About the Position: Incumbent will serve as the Branch Chief in the Automated Transportation Systems Division responsible for meeting the needs of the Department Of War (DoW) and the U.S. Army Transportation Command for automated systems designed to support the distribution and deployment process for transportation of surface cargo.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Enforcing Information Technology plans, policies, and procedures to guarantee total organizational compliance with industry and federal standards; 2) Evaluating internal processes and operational procedures to systematically monitor and enhance organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity; 3) Leading a diverse team of Information Technology professionals to drive project success and foster continuous professional development; 4) Administering comprehensive financial, contractual, or acquisition oversight to optimize project resource allocation and ensure strict budgetary adherence; and 5) Managing Department of War ocean sealift, freight ordering, or payment systems to streamline logistics and ensure accurate financial transactions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
