Aeronautical Information Specialist
Job Description
Reports to the OSG Flight Procedures Team Manager. The incumbent is expected to perform work independently resolving potentially controversial or sensitive issues. Results of work performed are considered technically authoritative and conclusions and recommendations are accepted.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this position at the FV-J level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FG/GS-13. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience is: Experience as a technical specialist for one or more of the following program areas: Development, maintenance and revision of terminal/En-route lnstrument Flight Procedures (lFPs) Ensuring lFPs are coordinated and - integrated into the NAS and provide for safe operation of aircraft Collecting, evaluating and verifying aeronautical data Experience providing subject matter guidance on automation applications as - used by Aeronautical information Services Experience in development of lnstrument Flight Procedures (lFP) Working with lnstrument Procedures Development Systems (IPDS) lnstrument Approach Procedures Automation (IAPA) Terminal Area Route Generations and Traffic Simulations (TARGETS) Applicants should provide examples of Specialized Experience in their Work History.
