Job Description
The incumbent serves as a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist in a Regional office and is responsible for the full range of labor and employee relations activity and supervisory functions, which includes planning, coordinating, directing, and evaluating the work of complex human resource management programs in the areas of labor and employee relations, including grievances and appeals, conduct and discipline, and performance management. Qualifications: Candidates must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (FG/GS-13/FV-I) that is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience negotiating collective bargaining agreements, providing advice and guidance to management on employee relations (conduct, performance management, discipline, etc), interpreting laws, regulations, policies in order to support a collaborative management/labor environment. *Applicants who fail to demonstrate possession of any of the above criteria AND who do not provide the required documentation will not receive further consideration for this position.* **All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.**
