Health Operation Support Team Health Service Administrator (O-6 Billet) Supervisory

Health Operations Support Team Health Services Administrator provides mobile assistance for daily healthcare operations in IHSC-staffed facilities and special missions. They ensure compliance, manage personnel, monitor contracted services, & support IHSC initiatives. Requires leadership, adaptability, supervisory healthcare management expertise & up to 50% travel. This position is only open to current USPHS officers. USPHS Call to Active Duty (CAD) candidates are not eligible for this position. Qualifications: PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position is considered hazardous duty in a detention setting. Ability to walk unaided, jog/fast walk up to 1⁄4 mile, and lift objects over 30 pounds. Perform CPR/emergency care standing or kneeling. Must have the ability to assist sick, injured, or aging detainees or staff exiting the building (may require lifting, dragging, wheeling, or carrying someone who weighs significantly more than self). Work in stressful and austere environments without physical limitations.
