NURSING (CASE MANAGER)

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a NURSING (CASE MANAGER), Position Description Number T5637P02 and is part of the LA ARNG STATE SURGEON OFFICE, National Guard. Qualifications: GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess understanding of the principles and concepts defined by a practical knowledge of health services activities such as, administration, managed care, human resource management, logistics management, patient administration, budgetary and fiscal management, medical manpower, medical facility management, biometrics, medical recruiting, or aeromedical evacuation. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess at least one (1) year (12 months) of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09). This experience must demonstrate knowledge of basic principles and practices related to the management of occupational health care delivery systems; experience in planning for and executing state occupational health programs; and at least six months of experience in one of the medical service core functions (health facilities, health plan management, medical resources, health care information, etc.). Must have demonstrated skills in written and oral communication.
