About the Position: This position is with the Pine Bluff Arsenal located at Pine Bluff, Arkansas. This position serves as the Chief of Staff to the Commander and Deputy to the Commander in matters concerning operations, plans, and organization that affect or impact all organizational elements. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1.Leading and synchronizing complex staff operations across multiple organizational functions to maintain organizational effectiveness and mission execution 2. Coordinating and integrating cross-functional staff elements to execute organizational priorities, resolve organizational barriers, gain stakeholder buy-in, and implement organizational policies; 3. Translating senior-leader guidance and intent into coordinated organizational actions and driving execution across multiple staff elements; AND 4. Supporting senior leadership (such as the Commander and Deputy) with strategic planning by aligning internal staff processes, resources, and workflows with long-range organizational goals. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
