Job Description
The Division of Data was established in October 2020. Our team is committed to empowering the CFTC to make data‐driven decisions by harnessing data to develop and deploy sophisticated enterprise analytics and AI capabilities, modernize and streamline data analytics tools and technologies, improve data standardization and compliance, and promote a data‐informed workforce that enhances mission and operational performance.
Qualifications:
To Qualify at the CT-15 level, candidates must have one year of specialized experience at the CT/GS-14 level or equivalent. Examples of specialized experience include that through which one has gained an advanced knowledge of the Commodity Exchange Act and agency regulations, the ability to interpret and apply the policies and regulations to various situations; experience using comprehensive knowledge of national and international institutions related to futures trading, the economics of futures and option trading, accepted techniques for the collection and analysis of economic data, and experience directing the work of a highly technical and complex administrative program which involves providing CFTC divisions with large data and analyses.
